It has always made me sad to see a living creature being mistreated, not cared for properly, or abused. It’s common for people to take in an animal and then keep it in unsuitable conditions.
Most dogs living on the streets face a very difficult life—hungry, thirsty, and sick—and I believe this is largely the result of human decisions. I often find it hard to understand the human way of thinking, because I don’t understand why it isn’t second nature for us to avoid causing suffering.
